Hybrid Media Group, a Florida based green advertising agency, is leading the green revolution by offering green advertising solutions to top brands nationally and supporting environmental causes with their every day operations. As a part of its mission for a better business environment, Hybrid is now offering philanthropic co-branding opportunities between top brands and charity causes. The donation is given from Hybrid’s end, on behalf of their clients, to a charity of their clients’ choice (from their participating charities). There is no charge for the matching service and, in most cases, no required minimum donation as the money is produced through their advertising services.
By incorporating green and philanthropic elements into existing promotions and bottom-line-driven campaigns, Hybrid’s goal is to change the advertising world with the vision that one day every ad and promotion produced will support a humanitarian or environmental cause, and will be executed in an eco-friendly way without forfeiting advertising spending or sales driven messages.
As a part of its efforts, Hybrid has partnered with top environmental and charity organizations, each addressing a different need within society. Partner charities include:
Cancer Research Institute (www.cancerresearch.org),
Food Bank For New York City (www.foodbanknyc.org),
Giving Children Hope (www.gchope.org),
EarthShare (www.earthshare.org),
Amazon Conservation Association (www.amazonconservation.org),
Circle of Friends for American Veterans (www.vetsvision.org),
Community Voice Mail (www.cvm.org)
Ocean Energy Council (www.oceanenergycouncil.com)
Additional charities are expected to join the efforts in the upcoming weeks.
This partnership allows for this selective group of front causes to be featured in various marketing campaigns and co-branding efforts with Hybrid’s clients, while maintaining exclusivity within their category to avoid diluted efforts. Hybrid’s clients get the chance to support philanthropic causes by doing their every day advertising initiatives with no sacrifice to their ROI or active promotions.
This new generation of advertising is giving corporate America the opportunity to re-connect with their communities by being green and philanthropic while doing their everyday business. Hybrid Media Group is the first advertising agency to offer that kind of a solution, with the hope that many will follow.

Fighting Cancer, in a Hybrid way
June, 2009, Ft. Lauderdale – HYBRID Media Group, a Florida based green advertising agency, has now partnered with Cancer Research Institute to offer co-branding opportunities with the organization to its clients. Cancer Research Institute is the world’s only non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to the support and coordination of scientific and clinical efforts that will lead to the immunological treatment, control and prevention of cancer. The Institute is hastening the discovery of effective cancer vaccines and other immune-based therapies, and providing new hope to cancer patients.
“Cancer has been a part of our lives for so long, and we are still behind when it comes to safe and effective treatment methods,” says Limor Windt, VP of Marketing for Hybrid. “One out of two males and one out of three females will have cancer at some point in their life. This disease has touched almost every one of us, and should get our full attention.” Hybrid Media is pushing to bring Cancer Research Institute to the front of their advertising activities and is currently pursuing co-branding opportunities for Cancer Research Institute with top brands. Leslie Salter, Officer of Corporate and Foundation Relations for Cancer Research Institute, states: “Our partnership with Hybrid Media will help us reach corporate decision-makers and their customers we might not have otherwise reached. That could make a real impact on our organization and on the face of cancer therapy.”

Green ad agency and Community Voice Mail are calling for attention
June, 2009, Ft. Lauderdale - HYBRID Media Group, a Florida based green advertising agency, is leading the green revolution by offering green advertising solutions to top brands nationally and supporting environmental causes with their everyday operations. As a part of its mission for a better business environment, Hybrid is offering philanthropic co-branding opportunities between top brands and charity causes. The donation is given from Hybrid’s end, on behalf of their clients, to a charity of their clients’ choice (from their participating charities). There is no charge for the matching service and in most cases - no required minimum donation as the money is produced through their advertising services.
One of the recent charities to partner with Hybrid is Community Voice Mail. Being a different kind of charity, CVM is a perfect fit for Hybrid Media, who’s tagline is “A Different Breed of Marketing”.
For over 15 years, Community Voice Mail has been partnering with communities across the country. CVM is comprised of a federation of 45 community-based social service host sites. These local hosts recruit and manage other social service agencies to serve as CVM distributors. Through this national/local partnership model, CVM has connected more than 2000 agencies in more than 400 cities and towns. These many thousands of agencies make up a network which 1) distributes CVM numbers to phoneless low income people, and 2) leverages the network to connect vital information to difficult-to-reach populations.
“When we first announced our philanthropic efforts we asked for top charities to join our journey while approaching the most common areas for donations” says Limor Windt of Hybrid “Community Voice Mail was not on that original list, but when they reached out to us and explained about the cause it made perfect sense. As an advanced society we tend to ignore the most basic needs a person in trouble or distress is missing in order to get their life back together– a phone number. Hybrid is delighted to support CVM and help bring their cause to the front.” Andrea John-Smith, Interim Development Director for Community Voice Mail adds “The impulse that Hybrid feels to help translate the work of caring to the work of commerce is what made us join their mission, and partner with them.”
Hybrid Media Group is actively pursuing communication providers and other matching opportunities to co-brand with CVM, and inviting these corporations to perform joint marketing efforts through their current promotions with no additional dollars necessary “all a corporation needs to do is use us for the campaign initiatives” states Limor “then we donate from our end to the cause.”
To learn more about Hybrid Media Group and this co-branding opportunity contact limor@hybridmediagroup.com or visit www.hybridmediagroup.com. To learn more about Community Voice Mail and their efforts visit www.cvm.org or email them at info@cvm.org.

A Full Service Digital Agency
“Agency principals recognize the urgency and importance of the shift to digital, but are personally unprepared for the change.” -Tim Williams - author of Take a stand for your brand
Traditional agencies cannot understand the digital world - they can just try to keep up with it, like most large corporations these days. Understanding that you do not understand something can be a tall order when years of experience, knowledge about the industry and ego come to play. So how do you break the news to your parents that they don’t know how to operate a new technology, even though they’re trying so hard? How do you look traditional advertising in the eyes and tell it goodbye?
Traditional advertising has a great heart and a lot of creativity, but it’s called traditional for a reason – it is old fashion and diminishing in its current nature. Digital advertising alone doesn’t stand a chance either, as it’s missing the core component that keeps brands and campaigns alive, the heart of it all – creativity/branding power. This is why digital advertising needs to adopt traditional elements into it, and not the other way around.
Today, the digital world has so many arms to it, that it requires its own agency structure. A traditional agency is not capable of supporting all of that and can only offer outsourcing or mass hiring. So as TV and print are shrinking down, and when everything but the creative is outsourced – what is it that a traditional agency has to offer?
Creativity can travel from one agency to the next, it can merge in new, younger brains, and it can evolve with each generation. It can also die, or as I like to call it – be recycled. Re-used creative is a very common phenomenon. Creativity can bloom anywhere, and is available all around us. Creativity can always join the team, and usually belongs only to a handful of people in each agency. Hiring a handful of creative people is easier than filling up the building with top of the line digital professionals.
Companies are looking to lead in their market by partnering with truly exceptional ad agencies. These owe their clients the ability to offer full control over the online arena. This level of expertise can only be offered by fully operated digital agencies that have been doing it for the last 15 years. Outsourcing the services can be costly for the client, and hiring the staff is underestimating the power of this new generation of advertising. The ultimate solution for a traditional agency would be to merge together with a digital agency. The ultimate solution for clients would be to partner with a new generation agency.
The Conversion process:

How to be Green and Philanthropic in a Recession?
More businesses truly believe that green practices will improve their operations, attract customers and boost revenue.
Most of us already understand that today being Green is not a trend - it's a standard requirement. It's a responsibility that the public now demands from every brand, and it is beyond a logo with a leaf on it - it's a lifestyle that we all need to adopt on a personal and a corporate level. Being Green is not a nice approach - it's a very serious action that we all must incorporate in our everyday life and business operations. Being Green is not thinking Green - it's doing Green with every action we take.
4 out of 5 people say they are still buying Green products and services in this market, even if they cost more.
75% of consumers say that companies should provide information on environmental impact.
73% of consumers think that it is very important for companies to have a good environmental track record.
66% of consumers think that companies should offer Green products.
Source: BCG Global Green Consumer survey results. 2008 BCG analysis.
Philanthropic marketing helps companies differentiate themselves, express their values and build long-term relationships with customers.
Being Green alone is not enough. We have to take care of people the same way we take care of the environment. Being Green and philanthropic has to be a part of what we do with everything we do.
Being Green and philanthropic can help you connect with your consumers on a deeper level. It shows that you care and you help. It shows your human side. It elevates your brand. Your brand is not your company's image, much more than that - it's your company's personality. Today, messages are not delivered, instead, two-sided communications are taking place and real connections are being formed between consumers and brands. The environment and philanthropy are a big part of these conversations:
54% of consumers believe that companies should be involved in social projects.
43% of consumers think companies should support a charity.
Source: BCG Global Green Consumer survey results. 2008 BCG analysis.
Being Green and philanthropic is great, but we can't forget about your ROI. If you don't have a value proposition you're not moving anywhere in this market.
The point is to incorporate being green and philanthropic as an added value, not as the only value, and sustain top-notch performing promotions. If you have a Sales Event this weekend that offers 50% off all your products, incorporate a bottom disclosure mentioning your' supported cause and consumers can find out more information about it on your site. You can get more traffic and sales while supporting a cause with every ad that you release, as it doesn't have to be a separate marketing effort or campaign. In addition, by using a green ad agency, like Hybrid Media Group, each promotion can be made in a green way.
As responsible advertisers - we should focus on maximizing our messages by supporting a cause at the same time as getting our existing message over to the consumer, this way nothing is lost and there is a positive gain and impact, without any additional marketing expense. This is our responsibility with the power of our brands using their voice. Every time you send out a message it should make a difference, to the world and to your business.
Being good in a cost effective way. Being Green is simple.
It's not about what you do, but it is about how you do it. How do you measure your carbon footprint? How do you produce your products? How do you dispose of your materials? How do you advertise? For example, placing an ad in a printed newspaper announcing your Green initiatives is not Green, yet many companies are still doing it. By using a green advertising solutions company, like Hybrid Media Group, you're supporting Green initiatives and can feature that in your marketing material for no extra cost, reach a larger more targeted audience for less money, in a way that is far friendlier to the planet.
Being philanthropic is simple as well.
Hybrid Media Group believes it is our responsibility to match you up with the highest rated charities and we don’t charge anyone for doing it. Hybrid media and its staff believe so strongly in what we are doing that we donate the money from our margin and commissions on your behalf, so you can get on with your normal marketing activities, with no hassle, no additional* cost and no effort.
Hybrid encourages everyone to give to charity and environmental causes every day, while doing their regular business, in a cost effective way.
